Corn Cutlets

Hi,

Today I am posting recipe of corn cutlets. Rainy season is beginning. And whats better than corn to

enjoy this season.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Corn kernnels : 1 cup
  • Boiled Rice : 1 cup
  • Green Chillis : 2
  • Ginger : 1 inch
  • Capsicum : 1 medium
  • Milk : 1/4 Th cup
  • All purpose flour : 4 tsp
  • Butter : 1 tbsp
  • Sugar : 2tsp
  • Coriander : 2 tbsp
  • Cheese : 1 tbsp
  • Salt : to taste
  • Oil : to fry
  • Crushed toast

METHOD:

  • Boil corn .
  • Cut capsicum, chillis, ginger into small pieces.
  • Heat butter , add 2tsp all purpose flour in it.
  • Add milk to it and stir on a low flame.
  • When it turns thick turn off the flame and add cheese to it.
  • Add corn, rice, and capsicum .Mix well.
  • Add salt, chillis , ginger, sugar and coriander. mix well all ingredients.
  • Make balls of this mixture.
  • Make slurry of remaining flour. Dip the balls in it.
  • After it roll the balls in crushed toast powder and give it the shape of cutlet.
  • Fry till it turns golden brown.

In today’s busy world we ignore to take proper care of our skin and hair. Unhealthy diet and junk food , busy and stressful life gets reflected through our skin . Thus to get back that glowing skin and hair today I am posting a health drink . It contains healthy  ingredients .let’s have a look at its ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Spinach : 4 leaves
  • Beetroot : 4 pieces
  • Carrot : 4-5 inch
  • Mint leaves : 5-6
  • Tomatoes : 1 medium
  • Black berry : 8
  • Salt : to taste

METHOD: 

  • Wash spinach and mint leaves in lukewarm water.
  • Put all the ingredients together in juicer and mix it .
  • Add salt to it.
  • It’s ready to drink. [water can be added ].

 

Spinach contains high levels of beta-carotene, which offers free radical protection and converts into vitamin A in the body. It also has vitamins C& E.

Carrots are high in A, a vitamin helpful in maintaining skin cells, as well as beta-carotene and antioxidants that help prevent skin damage.

Beetroot can work as an effective anti-aging skin care treatment to prevent wrinkles, repair your aging skin 

Tomato is considered a super food in itself thanks to all the vitamins and minerals present in it. It is a rich source of Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6, along with minerals like magnesium, iron and phosphorous. All these vitamins and minerals in turn have numerous known and scientifically proven beauty and health benefits.
Mint is especially great for skin that needs that extra care and treatment. If you are suffering from severe acne on the face, using this simple ingredient can help you get rid of it.
Berries are high in vitamins A, C & E. I remove the stems, juice the berries and save the pulp and eat it later for fiber.

Mango Fritter

Today i m posting last recipe of mangoes. Summer is at its end and so is the end season of the king of fruits MANGOES. Monsoon is about to begin. So i tried to create recipe which suits for the current weather and for the mango lovers. In India fritter are preferred in monsoon hot and delicious.Recipe is quiet simple to make as its the mixture of both the seasons. Lets have a look at its ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Raw mango: 3 big
  • Green gram dal : 1/2 cup
  • Green chillis : 6
  • Salt : to taste
  • Oil : to fry

METHOD:

  • Peel mangoes and cut into small pieces.
  • Mix chillis, salt and mangoes together and blend it to make a paste .{don’t add water }
  • Soak green gram dal for 4-5 hours in water. After drain the water and grind the dal.
  • Mix dal and mango paste together.
  • Make small balls of the mixture and fry it until it turns golden brown .

 Serve it hot with sauce or chutney.

Toast mango ice-cream

To fight against these unbearable heat .I thought of making cool ice cream . So lets start.

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • Ripe mango pulp: 1 cup
  • Crushed toast : 4
  • Milk : 1/2 cup
  • Sugar : 2 tbsp
  • Cream : 1/2 cup
  • Boiled Raw mango : 1

METHOD:

 

  • Boil milk.Add sugar and crushed toast in it.
  • Cook for 10-15 min on low flame until  properly mixed in milk.
  • Add mango [ both ] in the above mixture and blend it.
  • Add cream to it and blend it again. Freeze for half n hour.
  • Take it out and blend once again.
  • Again freeze it until it is properly set.
  • Toast mango ice cream is ready to serve.

Raw Mango Veggie

Hi,

Today I am gonna post a different recipe made from mango. It Is easy to make and delicious tarty taste of mango.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Raw mango : 2 medium size
  • Fennel seeds : 1tsp
  • Black mustard seeds : 1/2tsp
  • Salt : to taste
  • Turmeric powder : 1/2tsp
  • Jaggery : 1tbsp
  • Fenugreek seeds : 1/2tsp
  • Oil : 2tbsp
  • Asafoetida : a pinch
  • Red chilli powder : 1tsp
  • Cumin seeds : 1tsp

METHOD:

  • Cut mangoes into big pieces
  • Take a boiler and boil Fenugreek seeds in one glass of water for 2 minutes. Add mango and fennel seeds in it.
  • Boil it till the mangoes turn soft.
  • Strain all the water from it and add salt, turmeric powder, Jaggery, red chilli powder in the mango. Mix well .
  • Take a pan ,heat oil and temper it with black mustard seeds and cumin seeds.Add mango mixture to it.
  • Cover the lid and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
  • Stir it once . And tempting raw mango veggie is ready to eat.

NOTE: DON’T STIR IT FOR TOO LONG.

 

 

 

Mango Halwa

Hi ,

Today I am sharing another recipe of mango ; i.e mango halwa .It is very easy to make. Lets start.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mango pulp : 2 cups
  • Sugar : 1 cup
  • Ghee : 2 tbsp

METHOD :

  • Peel and chop the mangoes. Make a puree. [ don’t  add water ].
  • Take a pan , add mango pulp and sugar ; mix well on low to medium flame until sugar dissolves completely and becomes a thick and jammy .
  • Add ghee and mix well. Keep stirring for about 10-15 mins until you get a thick paste . It should come to a halwa consistency.
  • Turn off the stove and pour the halwa on a well-greased moulds  or plate.
  • Allow it to set , until it comes to room temperature.
  • After it is set cut it into square pieces  .
  • Refrigerate it and serve chilled.

It can also be decorated with cashews or almonds.

Mango Jam

Hot sizzling  summer is around , and whats better than Mango to  start this drizzling summer. Mango is said to be the king of all fruits . So today to start with my first blog I have mango jam recipe . lets start with its ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mango raw/ripe: 400 gms
  • Sugar: 200 gms
  • water: 1/2 cup
  • citric acid: a pinch { optional}

METHOD:

  • Boil the mango until it become soft.
  • Peel the mango and remove inner seed and mash the mango with spoon or potato masher.
  • Mix sugar, water,and citric acid {optional} to the mashed mango pulp. mix well
  • Take a pan , pour the mixture and bring to boil on medium flame. after it starts boiling turn on to high flame until it thickens .[ 5 mins approx. it takes]
  • Remove it from the flame and let it cool down to room temperature.
  • Your jam is now ready to eat. Store it in a sterilized jar.

 Today I m posting another recipe made from mango.In previous post i wrote on sweet recipe made from mango. So for today i thought to post a chatpati yet delicious recipe of mango.

COOKING TIME: 15-20 MINS

INGREDIENTS :

  •  Mango raw [totapuri] : 250 gms
  • Sugar : 100gms
  • Green chillis : 2 to 3
  • Mint : 7 to 8 leaves
  • Coriander : 150 gms
  • Salt : to taste
  • Crushed and roasted peanuts: 150 gms

METHOD :

  •  Cut the mango into small pieces and blend it .
  • Add chillis, coriander, mint leaves, sugar and blend again, until it forms into a fine paste. [note: little water can be added if the paste is too thick].
  • Transfer it in a bowl and mix roasted, crushed peanuts. Mix well

your delicious chutney is ready to eat. you can even store it.
